"Wild Girl"

I posted the start of this painting a while ago but just got around to finishing it.
I named her wild girl as she belonged to a herd of nervous mustang's. It is a
71/2" x 12" pastel created for the show at the Bigfork Museum of Art and History.

Gorgeous painting Whitney.
Makes me want to reach out and pet her, she looks so real. Her eyes are soulful.
Thanks for sharing your work.

whoa! your paintings are amazing. I love the textures on them from the horses hair. They look so realistic. Thanks for passing by my blog and commenting :) I'll be keeping an eye out on your work :)

Hey Toni!

When did you start doing pastel and why are they so good already?!
It is nice to see what the competition is doing. I had better step up my game.
Good job.
