"Wild Girl"

I posted the start of this painting a while ago but just got around to finishing it.

71/2" x 12" pastel created for the show at the Bigfork Museum of Art and History.

"Wolf Creek Mule"

Wolf Creek Mule, has moved away from me. He used to live very close where I could visit him often. I hope he has a wonderful new home! SOLD

Swan Sunrise

Swan Sunrise is a painting of two horses that live down the Swan Highway from me. I love the way they look in their pasture, they seem to match their surroundings

"Lonely Boy"

Whenever I would drive into town last fall, there would always be one single horse standing with his hind end cuddled against this old barn. He was alone in a huge pasture just hanging his head and sharing heat from the old barn. This day I stopped to take his photo and he was so happy, he perked up and ran over to me and broke my heart as the only place to park was on the highway where I was not supposed to be. He was gone a few months later so I tell myself that he went to live with a herd that loved him.

The Gray

Boy am I a good liar, or what! This guy, who I call "The Gray", was just finished last week. He was made for a showing in California, hopefully he get's accepted, and stands approx. 20" high by 22" long. He's made out, for the most part, wire and Batik textiles fabric, which is what I use in my quilt designs also. I will post the new spring quilts as soon as the incredible Miss Carol Rockwell does the quilting on them, then I'll post the painting that will be done soon after. Sorry for being such a liar :)

This is a tiny acrylic that I did this morning for the art walk in Bigfork this weekend. It is going to Frame of Reference, hopefully it gets a home soon and only has to be stabled temporarily. It is a 3 1/2 x 4" titled, "Peace"
This guy sold his second day in the gallery with a wonderful Christmas story behind it, but I can't tell in case someone peeks early. SOLD

"Wolf Creek Barn"

This painting is the same horses as the last, they are close to my home and very sweet horses, (and mules), who love their picture taken. My favorite painting subject in the herd actually growls when he's nervous, he has the calmest demeanor. I wish he were mine, so I make him mine on canvas.
THIS ONE SOLD AS SOON AS THE ART WALK OPENED! YAYYY!

I did it! I think this one will go to the gallery in Bigfork, I'm not sure yet though. The next two will be similiar, and more than likely horses!
